BUTCHY IS A JUMPING BEAN!
Hey Pals,
Do you still have all of your new toys you received from Christmas??? or are they in shreds, squeakies broke and stuffing hanging out??? hehehehehe! We have a few squeakies broken and some stuffing hanging out. Mama has to sew a few of our toys up already. She was not happy. We have been playing so much with our toys that we are all pooped out. See?
Then Papa had to tease me Butchy with one of my new toys on Christmas Day:

OUR WIREY CHRISTMAS!
Hey Pals,
We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! We sure did. We thought we would share what went on around here the last few days.
First of all on Saturday night, Fufu picked us up in his Fufumobile along with the gang and we headed for the North Pole to find Santa Paws! At first we thought maybe we missed the ride cause Miss Sunshade hadn't been picked up yet by Fufu. See, she was even waving a sign asking if anyone had seen him:
So we just kept waiting outside and it started to get very dark.
Where could he be????
Snickers, have you seen Fufu yet???
Nope, not yet Butchy! I'm scared, it's getting dark out. Those evil raccoons will start running around out here.
And just as Snickers finished yapping, here came Fufu & the gang:
We ended up finding Santa Paws but he wouldn't let us have any of our prezzies early, bummer......not even a bone to chomp on. To hear the complete story, please visit Fufu's blog.
CHRISTMAS EVE
On Christmas Eve day Mama & Papa went to Grandma & Grandpa's house. Mama's sister & brother's families were there too. We don't get to go there with them cause Mickie, Grandma's doggie doesn't like other dogs too well. Plus he has been quite sick lately with having strokes and all. Here is a picture of the neices: Maranda & Gabrielle
Can you believe they got to play DOGopoly??? And we didn't even get to go. No fair, what's up with that???? But then when Mama & Papa came home, they had prezzies for us from everyone.
I Butchy got a Santa toy and a cow ring toy!
Snickers got a Christmas Tree & a soccer ball!
So maybe it wasn't so bad sitting and waiting at home for Mama & Papa to get back.
Then we got some prezzies from Mama & Papa:
We got to play for a bit but then we had to go to bed and wait for Santa to come fill our stockings!
CHRISTMAS DAY
Look what we found when we woke up and ran to the fireplace:

My stocking had a chipmunk sticking out the top and Snickers' stocking had a bunny wabbit!

There were even more treats in the very bottom of our stockings too! We only get to eat one new treat per day cause Mama doesn't want us sick. But we know where she hides them, so maybe we'll sneak some when she's not looking, tee hee!!!
We have been playing so many hours straight with our toys that we are tuckered out and can barely keep our eyes open, yawn....... We think it's time for a nap. We'll post again later with some more pics of us and our toys. We even have a few videos too!

PRAY FOR OUR PALS & UH OH, BATH TIME
Hey Pals,
We hope everyone will cross their paws and pray for two of our buddies. They are having opewations and we sure hope they will be fine in no time. Poor T-Man has bladder stones and they were to opewate today on him. Then Boo is to have his 'AHEM' jewels removed. Don't worry girls, he will still be Mr. Casanova, hehehehe! So please pray that they will be okay!!!
We can hardly wait for Christmas Day to get here. We so excited, but Mama had to ruin our mood today. Yep, we heard that word 'BATH TIME'. She said we had to have a bath before we could have our Christmas pictures taken. Plus, it has been raining for 3 days now and everything on the ground is mushy, muddy, sloppy, you get the picture. So every time we come in from our walkies, our feet are a muddy mess, mud is splattered up onto our bellies and our faces are dirty from sniffing everything. Plus, we've been tracking muddy paw prints all over the floor! Even the raccoons are muddy cause Mama saw muddy raccoon foot prints going into the garage and under her car this morning. Then Mama had the nerve to take our pictures in the bath tub.
Here is Miss Fitness Snickers:

Here is Snickers rubbing her side on everything in site! First she rubs her side across the closet door, then the bathroom door, then the shower curtain and then Mama's legs! She does this about 50 times in a row, she's goofy! Then when Mama lets her out of the bathroom, she runs around the whole house like a lunatic, hehehehehe!
Well, Mama had to take pictures of me too, here they are:

Now notice how nice & calm I am waiting to be brushed out. Heh, heh, but wait til I get out of the bathroom, I also run around the house like a nut! Is that a terrier thing??
Well we finally got Mama to take some pictures of our stockings she made for us:
Notice how Me & Snickers green velvet stockings are much larger than Mama & Papa's stockings? We told Mama that she better make them bigger than theirs. She made theirs too. But they are cross stitched. She made them years ago. Here are some close up pictures of them: This one is Papa's with the fireplace & teddy bear sitting in the chair.
This one is Mama's with the moose and it says 'Merry Kissmoose' on it.
And this is MOOSEY! Mama also made him. Moosey guards our stockings on the mantel each year. Ya never know when some evil raccoon or chipmunk might climb down the chimney and try to steal our stockings, hmmmmmph. They better watch out, cause if they ever try, we'll light the fireplace and burn their sorry furry butts, hah!
Well, we probably better get to bed now so we can get our beauty sleep. Papa gets to stay home with us tomorrow, so that means more play time, yippee! Oh and Snickers wanted to let her boyfriends know that Mama finished Snickers' hot pink jogging suit so she'll be making a new jogging video soon, hehehehe!

Christmas Pics & We've Been Christmas Tagged!
Hey Pals,
Some of our doggie buddies don't like to have their pictures taken by their hoomans and some absolutely HATE having to put on little stockings, antlers, etc. for the holiday pictures. How come you hate this so much?? We don't mind it too much and to prove it, here is Snickers with a smile on her face from last years pictures:
Now isn't that just the cutest, happiest face??? Below is my picture from last year, but of course I don't look near as cute as little Snickers:
Mama hasn't taken our Holiday pictures for this year yet. She made Snickers a really cool Pawty Dress to wear for her picture. For me, well she's still trying to decide what to make. I sure wish she would hurry up. I have to look dashing for all of our girl doggie bloggie pals! Mama said if we are really good this week, we get to have our very own little Christmas Eve pawty on Christmas Eve night. Ooooh, we can harldy wait. That means prezzies from Mama & Papa, hehehe! Then we get to wait to see what Santa puts into our stockings on Christmas morning. We'll post pictures of our stockings later this week.
We have to clear something up for our doggie pals, Snickers really isn't my Sister like I called her in yesterdays post. I just call her that cause we live together. She is really my live in girlfriend, hehehehe! But I call her Sis cause I didn't want other doggies to think badly of me just living with my girlfriend, not being married to her and all, hahahaha! Also, Snickers wants me to make it clear that she is NOT a one DOGGIE MAN GIRL! She likes lots of boyfriends, Bussie, Gus, Lenny, Dean-O and the list goes on and on........oh, and they don't have to be Wire Fox Terriers either.....Marvin, Dudley, Boo, Charlie, need I say more.
Now to our Christmas Tag game.
We've been tagged by Maggie, Kevin the Collie & Marvin.
The Rules: The player of this game starts with "3 things he/she would love to get for Christmas" and also has to list "3 things he/she definitely does not want to get for Christmas". Then he/she tags 5 friends and list their names. The ones who get tagged need to write on their blogs about their Christmas wishes, as well as state this rule clearly, then tag 5 more victims. And the one who tags need to leave a comment that says "you've been Christmas tagged!" in their comments and tell them to read your blog.
Things we would LOVE for Christmas:
1. ALL pets to have a good loving home by Christmas Eve and for them to be healthy all year.
2. For our pal Fei & her Mommy Eve to find a nice apartment where Fei can live.
3. For our Pal Marvin to have his liver tests come back normal!
Things we would HATE for Christmas:
1. That mean old EVIL GRINCH to push another Bambi into our pond to drown.
2. Coal in our stockings!
3. Doggies being abandoned on the streets.
Ok, now we tag:
1. Fee
2. Mackie
3. Tigersan
4. Salchicha & Lilly
5. Hammer

We've Been Good Santa! & Grinch Is Trying to Steal Christmas
Hey Pals,
We wanted to show Santa that we've been good little doggies so that he'll bring us some prezzies on Christmas Eve. See the video below, I Butchy am kissing my sis Snickers. Mama was making fun of me cause I licked & kissed Snickers for 1 whole hour and 10 minutes. I only stopped once and Snickers batted me on the head with her paw for more, so I gave her more kissies, hehehehehe:
Then we have some bad news, we think the EVIL GRINCH is trying to steal Christmas! (If you don't like to see dead animals, don't look below!) Papa yelled for Mama to come look at something in the pond this morning. She jumped up out of bed and looked out the window with the binoculars and what did her eyes see??? A DEAD BAMBI, one of Santa's reindeer, floating dead in the big pond. Poor thing, it must have fallen in and drown. It was a little bambi, just born this last May. Since it was so small, Mama thinks that's why it didn't find it's way out of the pond after falling in. Mama was crying, makes her sad. So we think the EVIL GRINCH pushed the bambi into the pond! Here are a few pics of the poor deer:

Now back to some good things, we have received 53 Christmas Cards from our bloggy pals!!! Here is an updated picture of our cards hanging from the ceiling:
Mama will probably have to add more star garland wire to hang them on. We're running out of spots to put them, hehehehe! In case we have forgotten to Thank each of you pals on your blogs, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! We've been trying to get to each blog to thank you but we know we've missed some, sowwie!! We also got tagged by 2 of our friends so we'll have to make another post tonight or tomorrow to tell you the things we Do & Don't want for Christmas, tee heee!!! We better go help Mama now, she is putting a big fat chicken into the rotisserie machine thingy for Supper, yummy!!!! we're drooling already, hehehe!

Here's Our Doggie Christmas Tree
Hey Pals,
Well Mama finally got a picture of our doggie tree to show you. Yep, our very own tree that's put up each year. Be sure to look at our new tree top too, Miss Daisie Duke the Angel.

See, we even have little Wire Fox Terrier ornaments:
Now here is Mama & Papa's big 10 1/2 foot tall tree!
Papa has to stand on top of tall stools to reach the top. It takes a whole afternoon just to put the tree together and that does not include putting lights or ornaments onto the tree. We like the tree. We never even try to take any of the ornaments. See Santa? we've been good little doggies ALL year. We told Mama & Papa that they can't light the fireplace on Christmas Eve, otherwise Santa will burn his big fat bottom trying to get down our chimney, hehehehehe!
Well, it's getting pretty iffy if we will have a "WHITE" Christmas or not this year. Today it was 50 some degrees. We could hardly believe it. The ice is all melted that was on the ponds now so the deer can drink from the sides of the pond without falling in, tee hee! Two nights ago there were 5 buck deer in the yard. Two of them were HUGE! with big HUGE racks. The two biggest bucks were trying to fight each other by poking each other with their antlers. It was just too dark for Mama to get some good pictures. You could see the deer in the pic but the antlers didn't really show up. Then the poor little buck that has the deformed back leg walked across our bridge between the ponds and walked right up to our fish shack! He sure gets around good for a 3 legged deer. (well actually he does have 4 legs, but the 4th one is so deformed that it sticks straight out behind him and doesn't reach the ground.)
Hmmmm, we hear the treat jar downstairs. Guess we better fly down the steps and see what Papa is doing with our goodies!!!

Dog's Night Before Christmas
Dog's Night Before Christmas
Author Unknown
Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.
My dogs were nestled, all snug in "MY" bed,
While visions of chewie toys danced in their heads.
I in my sweat pants and Dad in his sweater,
Had just settled down to read the Great Dog Reporter,
When up on the roof there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my chair to see what was the matter!
Off to the window I flew in a flash,
Tore open the shutter and threw up the sash.
The moon on the crest of the new fallen snow
Gave a luster of midday to the objects below.
And what to my wondering eyes did appear
but a miniature sleigh and eight tiny reindeer.
With a little old driver so lively and quick
I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.
With a sputter of ashes -- a flurry of soot,
He slid down the chimney with all of his loot.
My Dogs stood there so regal and proud,
Guarding their home with barks oh so loud.
St. Nick showed no fear and called them by name,
He knew in his heart they were gentle and tame.
He brought out his list, checking it twice.
"Well, my beauties, all year you've been very nice.
I have in my bag toys and much more,
Just tell me what you pups really long for."
My dogs talked to each other -- much to my surprise
and turned to Santa with tears in their eyes,
"We have chewies and balls and ropes to be tugged,
We are pampered and coddled and petted and hugged.
But for Christmas, dear Santa, we have but one care,
that all dogs be loved as much as we are.
We want no dog beaten, whipped or chained,
No dog abandoned, abused or maimed.
We want all dogs, no matter what size,
to see love reflected in their master's eyes."
St. Nick stopped for a moment to gather his wits,
"I have nothing to stop humans from being such twits."
All dogs are so beautiful and are such a treasure,
Living only to be loved and give humans pleasure.
This lesson I will try to teach
Then maybe your wish will be within my reach."
St. Nick leaned over and kissed each beautiful head.
"Now you gentle giants, go off to bed.
Think good thoughts and dream good dreams
Of running and jumping and playing in streams."
St. Nick turned to me, his face wet with tears.
"Be proud of your babies, they are such dears."
In an instant St. Nick disappeared in a poof,
And I heard him chuckle as he ran on the roof.
He jumped in his sleigh and to his team gave a whistle,
and off he flew like the down on a thistle.
And I heard him exclaim as the drove out of sight,
"Merry Christmas to All and To All Dogs a Good Life!"

Hey Pals,
You just have to see what Sunshade did to Snickers, hehehehe! You will die laughing & woofing your little tails off. Please go here: SEE SNICKERS THE ELF!
Boy, Mama sure has been nervous this week. Ya wanna know why??? Those darn bambi's, (Santa's Reindeer) keep breaking the ice on our ponds and falling into the water! and that water is FREEZING COLD!!! Last night was the 3rd deer to fall in just this week. First it was walking around on the ice and kept slipping and sliding cause it's very slippery on there. Mama & Papa were both watching and the next thing they knew, the deer fell into the water! Mama even had her camera close by so she got these pics of poor Rudolf swimming in the water and crawling up onto the ice to crawl out.

Don't know how we would get them out if they couldn't do it on their own. Mama thinks the deer would kick her & Papa to death. So far none of the deer have been hurt. What would Santa do if the deer died??? Who would come fill our doggie stockings??? wahh!! Well as you can see from the pond pictures we got a tiny bit of snow the other day. Not even enough to play in see:
It's basically gone already.
Did you check out our new camouflage jumpers Mama made us? She says it's part of our Christmas presents. We don't think that sounds too fair though. Shouldn't we still get lots of presents at Christmas anyways? hehehehe!
Speaking of prezzies, look what we got in the mail??
It's from Miss Sunshade & her Mommy.
See, I even tore off the peel strip myself.
Hmmmm, what is that smell??

Oh my gosh, it's Miss Sunshade! Her curly hair and all, hehehehe! No wonder we could smell her, tee hee!
Look what she gave Mama for her car?? FOX TERRIER TAXI SERVICE sign. Very important to have ya know??
And look at these?? Sunshade said there is one each for Me & Snickers!! AHEM!!!!, Mama said she didn't think so. These are for Mama's tootsies to wear, cute Wire Fox Terrier sockies! Ok Mama, we'll let you have them, sigh......
(we figured we better let Mama have her way since we have WAY more Christmas cards than her & Papa do. We have 36 fabulous cards now and they only got 3, hehehehehe!
